Neutrino is een grootschalige lichtinstallatie die op poëtische wijze de subatomaire wereld onderzoekt; een niveau van orde dat we nog niet volledig begrijpen.
Een Neutrino ontstaat alleen bij de krachtigste gebeurtenissen in de kosmologie: supernova’s, kernreacties in de kern van een ster, of tijdens het afnemen van de rotatiesnelheid van een neutronenster. Dit maakt het idee van een artistieke weergave van dit bijzondere deeltje erg aantrekkelijk voor de kunstenaars.
De installatie is een symmetrische icosaëder met een diameter van 4 meter, opgebouwd uit een aluminium structuur waaraan 150 meter aan ledstrips zijn bevestigd. Dit driedimensionale object is zo ontworpen dat het krachtige abstracte patronen van licht kan weergeven, waarmee het publiek de ruimte krijgt om na te denken over de subatomaire wereld.

Markus Anders en Circus Lumineszenz hebben de afgelopen vijf jaar grootschalige lichtinstallaties en ervaringen gecreëerd, waarbij ze hun kunstwerken overal in Europa en daarbuiten tentoonstellen.

Neutrino
Neutrino is a large-scale light installation that poetically explores the subatomic world—an intricate level of order that remains beyond our full understanding.
A neutrino is only born from the most powerful events in the cosmos: supernovae, nuclear reactions in the core of a star, or the slowing rotation of a neutron star. This makes the artistic interpretation of this elusive particle particularly compelling for the artists.
The installation takes the form of a symmetrical icosahedron, measuring four meters in diameter. Constructed from an aluminum framework, it is embedded with 150 meters of LED strips. This three-dimensional structure is designed to project dynamic, abstract patterns of light, offering the audience a moment of contemplation on the mysteries of the subatomic world.
