Samensmeltende stemmen
Het Australische duo Hollow Coves maakt intieme folkpop waarbij het heerlijk wegzweven is. Soms doen ze denken aan Ben Howard, Benjamin Francis Leftwich of Paper Kites, maar bovenal klinken ze als Hollow Coves. Het geluid van hun twee samensmeltende stemmen is uniek, alsof het hier om broers gaat in plaats van vrienden. Na de ep Wanderlust (2017), waarvan de track Coastline 225 miljoen (!) Spotify-streams heeft, verscheen in 2019 het debuutalbum Moments. Eind 2023 werden we verblijd met de fijne nieuwe nummers Letting Go en Harder To Fake It – hopelijk de voorbode van nog meer moois!
